Time Flies

I cannot believe it is already mid-June and our wedding is only 3 months away.  I am so excited to marry Preston.  He is simply the best and I could not have asked for a better man.  That’s all I’ll say about that. :o)

Well, that no sugar thing didn’t work out too well.  It really limited my choices in the food category and now that it is summer, I feel as if there is more sugar flowing in the form of yummy fruits that I just can’t give up.  HOWEVER, the greatest thing about summer is that the Farmer’s Market is in full throttle!  Seriously, my favorite thing ever. I bought some peaches and blackberries today and they have the most lovely flowers!  Hooray for fresh local foods!

I’ve been cooking a lot lately.  I’ve made some not so great things and some really delish things.  I just made this potato salad for a birthday BBQ and must say…quite good.  I also made my first pie!  It  was a father’s day present…my dad is obsessed with pie. haha.   New favorite cooking website: EatingWell

Oh, I got a job!!! This is such a blessing and I am so grateful to have a job just a month after graduation.  I am working at Tuscan Hill, a wedding and event venue in Springfield. I will be doing a lot of administrative work, as well as, on-site event coordinating.  Very excited about what is to come with this job.
