Week 5-Day 4

Run: 6 miles

Time: 1 hour and 7 minutes

Holy Cow.  I never NEVER in my right mind thought I would be able to run that much all at once.  It was a huge accomplishment. And I could not have done it without Laurie.  Seriously.  And she kicked butt considering she’s not completely well.  I’m proud of us. It was freezing and windy today and we bundled up and did it anyway!

Well…add 7 more miles to that and we’ll be at a half marathon! :o)

Week 5-Day 3

Run: 4  miles

Time: 42:22

It was warm enough to run outside today and for me, that makes a huge difference.  Preston got me the Nike Sport for my birthday and I absolutely LOVE it.  It’s so nice  to hear a little voice tell how many miles you have ran. :o)

Week 5-Day 2

Run: 2 Miles

Time: 22 mins

Rocked it inside on the treadmill.   It is done and I am happy.  I’m hoping that the rest of the week it is really nice  so I can do the two longer runs outside. :o) Come on Spring!

Week 5-Day 1

Run: 4 miles

time: ?

I actually only ran about 3 miles.  I wasn’t feeling my best so I walked the rest.  Ran on the treadmill. Ew.

Week 4-day 2

Run: 3.5 miles

Time: ?

Not my best.  However, I did get to run outside in the SUNSHINE  which hasn’t shown its face in a long while.  I hope it warms up soon. I don’t like the treadmill.  It is not my friend.

Week 4-Day 1

Run: 2.5 miles

Time: 25-27 mins(we kept a really steady pace)

Well, here it is. . .week four already!  Time is flying! I thought I was going to have to make friends with the treadmill today (yuck!) but Laurie and I ended up running on the indoor track on campus.  It actually wasn’t too bad and we ran more than we needed too.  The weather is suppose to continue being nasty the rest of the week….so, I am not looking forward to it.  However, normally if it’s just cold, no gusting winds or rain, I like to head outside anyway.  We shall see!

Week 3-Day 3

Run: 3.5 miles

Time: 37 mins.

I actually did this run yesterday, but just forgot to update until now.  I felt really good. . .this week has just been a better week for me in general.  I am learning to enjoy my runs and really take comfort in that time spent just running with no agenda.  Tomorrow is my long run…5 miles here I come! Let’s hope it comes just as easy as the other runs this week.
